Ecuador and Panama Drive Investment and Business Expansion Opportunities
Cepan is organizing Expoconecta 2026, an event aimed at creating opportunities for both countries.
Expoconecta 2026 is an initiative to strengthen commercial, business, and institutional relations between Ecuador and Panama, and will take place in Quito on September 9.
This marks the first edition of the event, organized by the Ecuadorian-Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism (Cepan).
“This meeting represents an opportunity to transform relations between Ecuador and Panama into concrete investment, cooperation, and growth projects. We want to create a space where business executives, authorities, and investors can exchange experiences and build alliances that contribute to the sustainable development of both countries,” stated Cepan President María Isabel Espinosa.
Expoconecta 2026 is backed by the Embassy of Panama in Ecuador and the Federation of Binational Chambers. It aims to generate business opportunities while positioning Cepan as a strategic bridge for cooperation, investment, and shared growth.
The event is expected to be attended by government officials, diplomatic representatives, business leaders, investors, trade associations, and national and international experts.
The event program will feature panels on strategic areas for regional competitiveness, foreign trade, logistics, investment, tourism, innovation, and internationalization.
Additionally, there will be a commercial showcase where companies from Ecuador and Panama will present their products, services, and solutions to network and identify international expansion opportunities.
“This space will highlight the productive and business capabilities of both countries and promote alliances that contribute to economic growth, innovation, and regional well-being,” emphasized the Ecuadorian-Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism. (I)
